Choose a compact widget that gives you the right cue without turning your Lock Screen into a dashboard.
What 66 Streaks can show on the Lock Screen
66 Streaks offers two types of Lock Screen widget. Overall Progress shows how many of today’s habits are complete. Single Habit tracks one habit you choose.
Overall Progress is available in circular and rectangular layouts. Single Habit supports circular, rectangular, and inline layouts. This gives you a choice between a minimal signal and a little more context.
How to add a Lock Screen widget
- Touch and hold your iPhone Lock Screen.
- Tap Customize, choose Lock Screen, then tap the widget area.
- Find 66 Streaks in the widget picker.
- Choose Overall Progress or Single Habit and place it in an open slot.
- If you chose Single Habit, tap the widget and select the habit to display.
- Tap Done to save the Lock Screen.
If no habits appear when you configure the widget, open 66 Streaks and confirm you have an active habit. Return to the Lock Screen editor after the app has refreshed its widget data.
Circular, rectangular, or inline?
Use a circular widget when you want a quick visual signal. Use a rectangular widget when the habit name and status matter. Use the inline Single Habit widget when you want the smallest possible cue above the clock.
The best layout is not the one with the most information. It is the one you can understand in a glance.
Match the widget to one moment
A Lock Screen widget becomes useful when it appears near the moment of action. An evening reading habit benefits from being visible when you check the time before bed. A water habit may benefit from a cue you see throughout the day.
Avoid using the Lock Screen as a guilt screen. The widget should prompt a clear next action, not create vague pressure. If the habit is too large to act on immediately, shrink the action: read one page, stretch for two minutes, or prepare tomorrow’s workout clothes.
Live Activities and Dynamic Island
On supported iPhones and iOS versions, 66 Streaks can also present active habit progress through a Live Activity. Compatible devices can surface this information on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
Think of the Live Activity as a temporary focus surface, while widgets are permanent cues. Use the permanent widget for everyday awareness and Live Activity when one routine needs extra attention.
