Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how 66-Day Streak ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use the 66-Day Streak mobile application (the "App") or visit 66streaks.com (the "Website").
1. Privacy at a Glance
Your habit content stays on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not receive your habit names, check-ins, reminders, notes, or progress. Starting with App version 1.6.0, we use RevenueCat to provide and manage Premium purchases. This means limited purchase and technical information is processed outside your device.
2. Habit Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores habit names and icons, streak and check-in history, reminders, settings, insights, and locally created backup or export files on your device using Apple storage frameworks. We do not receive this habit data. If you create, share, or save an export, you control where that file goes.
Local notifications are generated and scheduled on your device. You can disable them in device settings.
3. Purchase Data Processed Through RevenueCat and Apple
We use RevenueCat, Inc. to display offerings, validate purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether Premium features should be available. The App does not send RevenueCat your habit data, name, email address, or a custom account identifier.
RevenueCat may process:
- A randomly generated anonymous App User ID
- Purchase, subscription, product, entitlement, renewal, and expiration information
- Apple transaction or receipt information needed to validate purchases
- Limited technical information, such as device type, operating system, and last-seen time
We use this information only to operate Premium access, prevent purchase fraud, provide support, and understand subscription performance. We do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Apple processes payment and transaction information under Apple's Privacy Policy. RevenueCat processes information under RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
4. Website Data
The Website automatically loads Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity to measure visits and improve the Website. They may process pages viewed, interactions, referring pages, browser and device information, IP address, cookies or similar identifiers, and—through Clarity—session recordings and heatmaps. You can limit cookies and similar technologies through your browser or device settings. Google handles information under Google's Privacy Policy; Microsoft handles information under its Privacy Statement.
5. How and Why We Use Information
We process limited information where needed to perform our contract with you (provide purchases and Premium access), pursue legitimate interests (secure and improve the App and Website), comply with law, or where consent is required by applicable law.
6. Sharing, Sale, and Advertising
We share information only with service providers needed for the purposes above, including Apple, RevenueCat, Google, Microsoft, and infrastructure providers. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your App data for targeted advertising, and the App does not include an advertising SDK.
7. Retention and Deletion
Deleting the App removes data stored locally by the App, subject to any device backups or exports you created. It does not automatically delete records held by Apple or RevenueCat. Purchase records may be retained as needed to provide entitlements, comply with legal and accounting duties, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud.
To request access to or deletion of information under our control, email us. RevenueCat uses an anonymous identifier that the App does not currently display, so we may be unable to associate a request with a specific record. We will explain the options available for information we can identify. Apple controls App Store transaction records and handles requests under its own privacy process.
8. International Processing and Security
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States, using safeguards required by applicable law. We and our providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Children's Privacy
Minors should use the App only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. We do not ask users to provide direct personal identifiers. If Premium is purchased, Apple and RevenueCat process the limited purchase and technical information described above. A parent or guardian may contact us with questions or requests.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above.
